Obituary

Frankie Marie Allen, 72, of Burlington, died on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at her home.

Born November 22, 1949 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Lee Grant Allen. 

She grew up in Scranton, Pa. and went to Washington Elementary School and Technical High School.

Frankie is survived by her three children; Robin (Craig) Rainey of Belleville Il, Vincent Allen Iowa City IA, and Michelle (Richard) Seider of Mcdonough GA; three grandchildren Craig Rainey Jr. of Germany, Brittany (Denton) Beard of Bettendorf, IA, and Jarryd (Janet) Seider  Mcdonough, GA, six great grandchildren Aaliyah and Josiah Rainey, Aamira, Akila, and Nalani Beard, Juliana Seider; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Raye McCampbell and Bobbie Jo Morgan, and two brothers, Frank Allen Jr. and Irving Allen, and one son, Robert Tyrone Allen.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Ms. Allen on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Reverend Shane McCampbell officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the community room at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home following the service.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Prugh Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
