David Richard Dunham, 74, of Mount Pleasant, died at 11:30 AM Friday, November 13, 2020, at Park Place Elder Living in Mount Pleasant.
Born August 1, 1946, in Macomb, IL, he was the son of Merrill and Mildred Long Dunham. He married Judith Copeland in 1965 and they separated in 1982. He later married Carol Reimel in 1983. They separated in 2008.
He was a graduate of LaHarpe High School. He then attended Millikin University in Decatur, ILL.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving from June 29, 1966 until April 1, 1970.
David worked for Burlington Northern and J.I. Case. In his later years, he worked for Penn State Department of Unemployment retiring in 2006.
He loved to fish, hunt, and was an outdoors man. He enjoyed collecting and caring for his guns. David liked to eat out and watch movies. He also dabbled in woodworking on his free time.
Survivors include three daughters, Michelle (Lonnie) Hanson, Kimberly (Mark) Myers, and Amy (Raymon) Reddish; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many cousins, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in LaHarpe Cemetery at a later date.
A memorial has been established.
